  • Benchmark account data: name, email, organisation details and the operational data you enter for benchmarking.
  • Analytics data: first-party usage statistics — pages viewed, clicks, referrer, approximate location from IP, browser and device type.
  • Cookies: essential cookies, secure session cookies for the Benchmark app, and first-party analytics identifiers.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used solely for responding to enquiries, providing requested services (including operating your Benchmark account and generating reports), and improving our website via anonymised analytics. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data for marketing. Operational data you enter into the Benchmark app belongs to you and is never used to train AI models.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

  • Consent: analytics cookies and marketing communications.
  • Legitimate interest: understanding traffic, protecting the service, responding to enquiries and improving services.
  • Contract: where necessary to fulfil service agreements.

5. Data retention

  • Contact form data: up to 2 years after last contact.
  • Benchmark account data: for the lifetime of your account; deletable at any time from within the app.
  • Analytics data (including IP): up to 14 months.
  • Client project data: duration of engagement plus 6 years (legal requirement).

  • Railway — secure hosting for this website and the Benchmark application.

8. Data security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, per-account data isolation in the Benchmark app, and secure hosting.
